The basis of our programs and initiatives lies in the
underlying goal of promoting sustainable economic
growth throughout the region. In our programs we seek
to:
- Provide a
common platform needed to a align and integrate
resources in the region;
- Attract high profile projects to
the region and encourage international participation in
those projects;
- Link companies with
international business
opportunities and international representatives
with assets in the Midwest;
- Collaborate
with groups and entities in the area to create
added value-added projects;
- Link entrepreneurs with investors to
create gazelle companies.
We are also continually analyzing our region’s key assets and concentrating on high-growth and high-potential industries, including agriculture and agricultural technologies, clean technologies, information technologies, infrastructure and manufacturing.
This day-and-a-half program will exhibit Midwest excellence in Clean Technology innovation, products, and services – connecting innovators with financiers, business management expertise and the international community.
The event will include an opportunity for in-depth discussions and networking in the Sectoral Breakout Sessions, including: On-Site Energy, Greener Building Sciences and Infrastructure & Community.
Keynotes and Plenary Sessions will address opportunities along the innovation pipeline and relevant U.S. & International policy.
Exhibition Space will be provided throughout the conference area and integrated with the conference proceedings.
Participants will also have the chance to compete in an Innovation Competition.

Our organization is the host for the Private Sector Liaison Officer to the World Bank Group (PSLO) being a vital resource for business opportunities in emerging markets. The PSLO is the access point for local firms to:
International Sales Opportunities: World Bank-funded projects generate $25 billion in new contracts and thousands of international bid procurement opportunities for suppliers of goods and services.
International Project Financing: The International Finance Corporation (IFC) applies its AAA rating to a variety of financing mechanisms for businesses engaging in projects and investing in developing countries
Political Risk Mitigation: The Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA) provides guarantees to allow investors and lenders to manage project-related political and noncommercial risk.
Through the network of 100 PSLO officers in 79 countries, this organization can also provide firms in the region local in-country market access and intelligence.
