K&L Gates and Global Midwest Alliance invite you to join us for a lunch program featuring Bart Edes, the Asian Development Bank’s (ADB) North American representative. Mr. Edes will discuss the ADB’s operations and programs.

The Asian Development Bank is an international development finance institution dedicated to reducing poverty in the Asia Pacific region through loans, grants, research, and technical assistance to its member countries, as well as investments in private companies. The United States is the second largest shareholder of ADB. Companies and consultants from the United States have been awarded $3.27 billion in procurement contracts on ADB-financed projects. In 2016, lending volume was $16.35 billion (126 projects), with technical assistance at $169.03 million (225 projects), and grant-financed projects.
