organized “Taking the Future Out For a Spin” for chamber members from around the state.

Global Midwest Alliance's Going Global Seminar, hosted by the The McHenry County Economic Development Council at the Shah Center, was covered in an article, "Learning on Growth Globally," in the Northwest Herald on January 12. The forum focused on Security & Private Liabilities as well as Global Market Opportunities. The British Consulate-General in Chicago, Robert Chatterton Dickson, spoke at the event along with representatives of the Global Midwest Alliance, the Association for Manufacturing Technology and Mesirow Financial.
