Global Midwest Alliance Programs
Entrepreneurial Programs
Global Midwest Alliance offers its partners entrepreneurial mentoring and educational programs to help participants compete more successfully in both the public and private sectors.

Acceleration & Innovation Mentors Program (AIM)
A program for early stage companies.  The AIM program provides entrepreneurs and start up companies with three to five months of coaching from mentors who are experienced subject matter experts in their field. This program takes participants through a disciplined, analytic process to identify and refine their business model.

Face2Face Program
A program for inventors and entrepreneurs. Face2Face provides participants throughout the Midwest with an opportunity to “test drive” their ideas in an informal setting and to receive immediate feedback from a panel of experts without having to develop a detailed business plan.

Industry Sector Specific Programs
The Alliance offers private-sector led industry programs to promote innovation, technology development and access to global opportunities in several industries:

Clean Technology
The Alliance is providing a Clean Technology Industry Forum for meaningful interactions between key executives engaged in clean technologies including wind power, solar power, biomass, biofuels, water technologies, environmental and waste management, geothermal energy, natural gas technologies, recycling, energy efficiency and storage, and scientists engaged in scientific research with a view to creating new products and novel, effective solutions to improve the clean technology industry.

Corporate Venture Capital
Globalization and market forces have increased the pace of competition for corporations. Corporate giants who were once the leaders of innovation have fallen and new, more nimble upstarts have not only taken market share, but also have developed new, unheard of markets. Corporate venture capital – or CVC for short – is the investment of corporate funds directly in external startup companies. The Alliance's Corporate Venture Capital Industry Forum is providing a forum for meaningful interactions between key executives, industry leaders and startups who will provide expert insight into the latest trends that are offering the best opportunities for future growth within the sector.

Energy
Energy is at the forefront of discussions on many levels—commercial, political and consumer —and has become the issue of this era. No other industry seems to be facing such profound challenges and undergoing as many changes as the energy industry is today. The Alliance's Energy Industry Forum is providing industry executives, businesses, government leaders and others an opportunity to engage in dialogue regarding the future of the industry.

Food
The Alliance is providing a Food Industry Forum for meaningful interactions between key executives engaged in food processing and distribution and scientists engaged in scientific research with a view to creating new products and novel, effective solutions to improve food safety.

Logistics
The Alliance believes there is a timely imperative to assemble a working group of professionals from all sides of the supply chain to assess the state of logistics in the region and adopt a program for addressing current issues. The Alliance is providing a Logistics Industry Forum for meaningful interactions between key executive.

Manufacturing
Manufacturing is the cornerstone of our country's economy. Our ability to manufacture a variety of goods is the foundation on which America’s ability to innovate, compete and create good jobs is built.  The Alliance is providing a Manufacturing Industry Forum for meaningful interactions between key executives and industry leaders who will provide expert insight into the latest manufacturing innovations that are offering the best opportunities for future growth within the sector.

Water
The Alliance is leading a Water Industry Forum for meaningful interactions between key executives engaged in water purification, desalination, and water sanitation, and scientists engaged in scientific research with a view to creating new products and novel, effective solutions to improve water safety.
